This is for travel stuff...airline/bus/train/rental car/Uber discounts, ride sharing to Lake Geneva, ride sharing from the hotel to Walmart, rides to/from 330 Centre St (if applicable), meeting up on Wednesday, etc.

So......................how is everyone getting to Lake Geneva?

I think I have about a 3 hour drive north by northwest. I probably could pick up Skach and crew along the way if I had room. ;-)

You are, or a younger Skach is dumping your old ass off so he can party it up with the Waukegan Boyz?

3 hours, nearly the same track as gizmo. Will probably hit Games Plus and Scooby's Red Hots on the way.

Just the Chicago suburbs. I wouldn't be able to do that sort of shuttling or come at all if it wasn't a relatively short drive.

But it's still tiresome (and burns valuable gaming time!).

Takes me back to the old days of going to GenCon (Milwaukee) and being unable to afford the insane price-gouging hotels, so going back and forth multiple times per con...

I make the same back and forth run from the Chicago suburbs. It's not ideal, but it certainly stretches the gaming budget!
