Gary Con XVII – February Newsletter

There are less than twenty days until Gary Con XVII! Are you ready to throw some dice and have some fun?

Most badges have been sold! However, there are a few Youth Badges remaining, as well as the last Hero of the Realm badge. If you want an exclusive experience—read about our Incarnate Tournament! 

We expanded our card game offerings and will now have…

MESSAGE FROM THE EVENTS TEAM: 

“While Gary Con is [essentially] sold out, we are excited to announce we’ll be releasing a limited amount of TCG badges. The TCG badge will allow you to sign-up for TCGs as well as drop into games of any kind over at the Chalet if there’s a free seat (but not sign up in advance)… It will also act as a Spectator badge for the rest of our convention areas, including access to the Exhibitor Hall.”

The badges should be available sometime Saturday, March 1, 2025. 

Take a look on our Trading Card Game page to see some of the available events! Remember, a short trolley ride to the ski chalet and you can check out the card games, additional vendors, and a mini arcade featuring two Stern D&D pinball machines! 

…is ongoing! All events are open for all badges, so enjoy the free-for-all combat for epic events! Fill your schedule by browsing the remaining open games on the TTE Events Schedule. To make your search easier, just use the “Extra Filters” on the bottom of the events schedule pages:

The Gary Con Charity Auction will benefit Children’s Wisconsin. Please consider making an item donation during auction intake hours on Thursday and Friday, March 20-21, 9:00am-5:00pm. 

Remember to head to the Grand Geneva Lobby on Saturday, March 22 around 2:30pm to sign-up for a bidding card.

The Gary Con Cosplay Competition is on Saturday, March 22 in the Grand Geneva Lobby around 12:00pm (noon)!

Our Master Category is full, but there are still a few spots available in our Novice Category. If you just want to reserve that time in your schedule, you can add the Spectator Event to your schedule on TTE, but it does not reserve a seat close to the action—seating is first-come first-served.*
