We will once again host our annual charity auction in March for Gary Con XVIII! The auction has become an iconic part of Gary Con’s annual events. Collectors, enthusiasts, and convention attendees will gather to see what had been donated to the auction this year and partake in bidding to help support our charitable cause—TBD (2026).*

The auction is scheduled for 3:00-6:00pm on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Gary Con XVIII in the lobby of the lovely Grand Geneva Resort & Spa.

How to Participate

Register –
- Once it is available, sign up for the live auction TTE Event for Saturday, March 21nd, 2026 and start gathering at 2:30 PM in the hotel lobby.
Preview Items –
- Some auction items will be showcased online—check them out on our Gary Con Charity Auction webpage as updates are made!
Bid with Purpose –
- Set a budget and get ready for exciting bidding wars, all for a great cause!
Spread the Word –

Ed Greenwood - Virtual Game

A creator with few equals we will once again be auctioning off an online gaming experience with Ed Greenwood the father of the Forgotten Realms, New York Times best selling author and Elminster himself! Ed has graciously agreed to host a four-hour virtual game for the winner and five other players and we cannot wait to give you a chance to bid on this. A bastion of generosity at the Gary Con Charity Auction we don’t have enough words to thank Ed.

Kelsey Dionne - Virtual Game

Gary Con XVIII will be one of Kelsey Dionne’s few con appearances in 2026, before taking a break to spend time with her family—but she has promised us an amazing four-hour virtual game for the Gary Con Charity Auction! In modern roleplaying, Kelsey Dionne’s creative genius has led to two fabulously successful Kickstarters, a treasure trove of awards, and her friendliness is only outmatched by her ability to create one of the most impressive TTRPGs in over a decade! Kelsey will lead the winner of this adventure and five of their friends into the Shadowdark for an epic experience!

Jeff has kindly agreed to make room on his busy calendar to create something truly epic for Gary Con.
