We will once again host our annual charity auction in March for Gary Con XVII! The auction has become an iconic part of Gary Con’s annual events. Collectors, enthusiasts, and convention attendees will gather to see what had been donated to the auction this year and partake in bidding to help support our charitable cause—Children’s Wisconsin.*
Gary Con XVII Charity Auction Letter
The live auction is scheduled to take place at 3:00-6:00pm on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Gary Con XVII in the lobby of the lovely Grand Geneva Resort & Spa.
People who are interested in donating items for the charity auction, such as iconic TTRPG collectibles, can bring their charitable donations to the Gary Con Registration/Help Desk at the Grand Geneva during our auction intake hours.

The Gary Con Crew at the Registration/Help Desk area can further direct you if auction intake has been relocated for 2025. We kindly ask no one brings auction donations during our early registration hours on Wednesday evening (5:00-8:00pm).

We encourage you to add the 2025 Charity Auction to your convention schedule!
In 2024, Gary Con raised over $50,000 to support Children’s Wisconsin and help sick kids get essential care.
Funds raised in 2025 through the auction and other events will once again benefit Children’s Wisconsin, a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, through the Extra Life program. This partnership continues to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in need.
*Although we wish we could provide you with a tax deductible form, Gary Con is not a 501(c) nonprofit organization. As a result, we cannot provide a letter that will qualify you for a tax deduction from your auction purchase. We can provide you with the amount you spent on auction items, but we have no authority or ability to offer any tax advice. In order to determine if there is a way you can claim any deductions for tax purposes, you would need to speak with a tax professional.
