Updates for the Gary Con XVII Charity Auction coming soon!
Gary Con XVI Charity Auction in 2024
Gary Con once again hosted our annual charity auction this past March for Gary Con XVI! The auction has become an iconic part of Gary Con’s annual events. Collectors, enthusiasts, and convention attendees gathered to see what had been donated to the auction this year and partook in bidding to help support a charitable cause.*
People who were interested in donating items for the charity auction, such as iconic TTRPG collectibles, brought their charitable donations to the Gary Con Registration/Help Desk at the Grand Geneva before 6pm on Friday. We kindly requested they did not bring auction donations during the early registration hours on Wednesday evening (5-8pm).
The live auction took place at 3pm on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Gary Con XVI in the lobby of the lovely Grand Geneva Resort & Spa.
In addition to the onsite auction in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, there was a virtual silent auction. Persons unable to attend Gary Con in-person, who were looking to expand their horde of gaming memorabilia and collectibles, participated online to bolster Gary Con’s fundraising efforts to support the charitable cause/organization selected for the year.
A virtual silent auction site was used.
We reminded participants to check back often, as items continued to be added leading up to the official auction date.
Funds raised in 2024 through the auction and other events benefited Children’s Wisconsin, a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, through the Extra Life program.
We encouraged people to visit TTE to check out the official EVENT details and add it to their convention schedules!
