Amanda Hamon

Amanda Hamon is a Senior Designer working on Dungeons & Dragons at Wizards of the Coast, where she builds, leads, and supports 5th Edition books from conception through publication and beyond. An award-winning tabletop game designer, developer, writer, and editor, Amanda has designed games for numerous publishers, including Wizards of the Coast, Modiphius, Paizo, and Kobold Press.  She is the former Editorial Director for Kobold Press, where she oversaw all 5th Edition publications, as well as a co-creator and the manager of the Starfinder RPG product line by Paizo.

In addition to her work in game design, Amanda appears as a TTRPG personality, performer, player, and Game Master on streams and at events around the world. She specializes in 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder First Edition, Pathfinder Second Edition, and Call of Cthulhu. All who watch Amanda play and run games are familiar with the screeching and caterwauling that is part of her personal brand. Amanda is absolutely not three opossums in a trenchcoat, but she does strongly believe that gaming is for everyone.
