Shuttles & Hoteling

Last year was tough for parking at the Grand, but help is coming…

Visit Lake Geneva, led by the Lake Geneva Tourism Board, is teaming up with Gary Con to help provide a complimentary shuttle to-and-from the Grand to the Lake Geneva hotels Thursday through Sunday during our convention!

Why is this great? Well, for starters, at least two of the stops are right in downtown Lake Geneva itself! So, you can have a meal in town at some of the great local restaurants, plus have a safe driver to get to your next adventure at the Grand, and stay in one of the downtown hotels without added worry about parking or driving—which could be especially helpful if you aren’t used to driving in Wisconsin’s winter weather.

We plan to update our Hotel page with a route map showing the two bus routes that includes where the stops are for the shuttles when plans are finalized in December. Until then, go make sure you’ve booked a room with one of our Partner Hotels!

It’s not entirely finalized yet, but we are working diligently to complete our Gary Con XVIII Special Guest List. Starting tomorrow (Mon., Dec. 1), we will begin making daily posts on our social platforms to get you all hyped about who you might run into at Gary Con in March!

On behalf of the Luke and Bouchra Gygax family, plus our Gary Con Staff and Volunteers, we extend our warmest welcome to all of our Special Guests. We also look forward to seeing all of you—our fantastic attendees—having a long, fun-filled weekend of gaming. 

The TTE portal for submitting events will close soon! Tomorrow (Mon., Dec. 1) at 12:00pm (noon) Central Time, we will close the event submission form on TTE while our Events Team works to schedule all of the events submitted by our wonderful GMs!

Similarly to previous years, we will reopen event submissions around December 10th and with it, we’ll send out a link to our Public Events Grid that shows where free tables exist.

We are thrilled to announce that the Lichseed Trilogy is officially launching on BackerKit at Gary Con!
